Games - a historical overview


Throughout history, board games have been an important factor, as soon as man was able to express to their brothers and sisters in significant conversation; I was looking for a way to compete in a peaceful way. Man also seek way relieve moments of boredom when they were not busy working for the survival of themselves and their families. These two reasons alone are few of catalyst to design games throughout the history of mankind.

Board games got its start with the first game "the real game of his ' which was discovered in tombs and dated to 2500 BC." Discovery by Sir Leonard Woolley demonstrates that all the way back to ancient times people were playing table games. These games were played by the upper classes during that time. In addition to high class games, some games which comply with the other classes of ancient times were found. Although this game may not be the first, is that the first board game ever known discovered and which demonstrates that even the first man enjoyed board games.

Later versions were called Mancala games in which stones were moved into holes on a Board, this game is played with other pieces, but the normal occurrence is of stones. Mancala games have existed for thousands of years and were played in places such as Egypt. These earlier games have been found in the pyramids and other ancient structures, it is believed that some of the games have been however it has been shown that many found games are actually calculators Mancala games.

Another form of elderly come from China with the game of Go (Wei-qi), one of the oldest and more games lengthwise of the history. Through out 2300 BC until it ended in Japan in the year 700, this was known as one of the most developed of the games for these errors. This game is also responsible for games including WarGames where should invade their enemy, capture of games where you must capture parts of the other player, hunt game where must discover who is its criminal and of course racing games where you must obtain more than the objective reached that your opponent does not.

Another that came out of China, which is there with all the older games and is one of the few that still exist today is the game of Mah Jongg. This game has been around for more than 4000 years and was originally found in the Tang dynasty. This game started with paper cards and eventually evolved to be plaid with tiles. Rich originally played the game, and the rules were kept in secret the common man. However, later in the story, in the 1920s made his way into the hearts of Americans and the rest of the world. Still widely played in today's society, it is now available in the online version and the version of the Board game and adopts a position among the most popular table games.

While there are many board games that existed throughout history, these games helped to shape today's Board games, as well as create peaceful competition in the world. These few historical games have created generations of board game enthusiasts, who are able to enjoy its effects on the market of the game today.
